The mission of Antunović winery is to position itself as a boutique winery with premium wines produced in small quantities intended for real wine lovers! The Antunović winery has a hundred-year-old family tradition of wine growing and wine production. Since planting a new vineyard in 2004, Jasna Antunović Turk, BEc, has taken the family business into “a new wine making age”. The winery is located in north-eastern Croatia. In a winemaking region known as Podunavlje – vinogorje (vineyards) Erdut. The exquisite micro climate of the Danube watercourse, fertile and loose soil and equal distribution of precipitation and sunshine all ensure highly favorable conditions for planting various grapevine varieties. 75% of Antunović Winery’s assortment consists of white wine varieties (Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Sylvaner, Muscat Ottonel and Chasselas). And 25% of red wine varieties (Pinot noir, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon). The winemaking facility also includes a wine tasting room where guests can enjoy homemade culinary specialties with wine.

Every vintage has one wine that I consider the best combination of the variety characteristic and the year when the grape is harvested. This limited series is called PREMIUM wine and I believe you will enjoy it as much as I did when I was making it.” – ” Jasna Antunović Turk”. Vintage 2011! the year of chardonnay! That year, summer was dry and hot and thus did harm to the ripening of some white wine grape varieties, which was mostly premature. Luckily, that cannot be said for chardonnay! The harvest was started earlier than usual and, we were blessed with excellent, pure and healthy must which was vinificated and nourished on yeast (the “sur lie” technology). This wine is characterized by exceptional extracts and its full body or better to say by its strong fruit chardonnay-like flavor,. But also by a light note of oak tree and tannin, which is a consequence of short-term aging in barrels. Full-bodied wine with a great potential for ageing!
