Vintage 2022. At the far South of Croatia, city of Dubrovnik stands proudly. Wine was part of culture here for ages and vineyards of Komarna filled the cellars of local winemakers with local varieties such as Malvasia Dubrovačka, Maraština or Plavac mali. Today, international varieties are introduced and as they thrive on the barren red soil of Konavle, Andro and his son Petar Crvik, are perfecting their winemaking skill vintage after vintage. A Renaissance playwright and prose writer from Dubrovnik, Marin Držić is an inspiration behind Crvik labels. Negromant (a sorcerer) is a character from 16th century comedy Dundo Maroje. In Crvik interpretation, Negromant is an outstanding Merlot. The wine is dense and dark in color. Fully ripe tannin and full-bodied, concentrated dark fruit with blood-like taste minerality in the background.
