Five friends with a passion for wine – that’s the El Centimo story. This winery was formed by 5 friends from across the globe – two Spaniards, two Americans, and an Irishman. Each of them is a guru, bringing a specialty to the venture to help grow this Rioja “garage winery. Rioja’s 2010 vintage is one of only 14 since 1925 to be rated “Excellent” by the region’s governing wine body. This luscious 2010 El Centimo is a small-lot production blended from the best grapes from local growers.
