Wine has been produced in Kutjevo since the 13th century. Vineyards are located in the Kutjevo winegrowing region on the southern slopes of Krndija. The elevation of the vineyards relative to the sea level ranges from 200 and 450 meters. As annual precipitation ranges between 500 and 800 mm of rainfall per square meter – the climate, terroir and weather conditions provide an excellent environment for winegrowing. Large forest circuits of Krndija and Geopark Papuk protect vineyards from sharp northern winds. The grapes for Vinkomir Graševina are picked on a micro-location – Vinkomir. The type of soil is sandy sedimentary rocks, some clay, and carbonate loess.
