The Movia estate dates back to 1700, passing into the hands of the Kristančič family with a wedding in 1820. The estate extends over 22 ha of land, about half of which lies on the Italian side of the Goriška Brda (hills of Gorizia) – Collio. Movia is more than a mere wine brand and the name of an estate on the borderland between Slovenia (Goriška Brda) and Italy (DOC Collio). Movia is a way of life, life in all its glory, purity of nature and sincerity of the author. From gentle and light classics, through a range of mature wines with good aging potential. Puro starts off where other champagnes end their lives and go on to age. A Puro turned upside-down can live forever, as its permanently present yeasts are capable of keeping it alive for years. A medium orange color. Brioche on the nose, well matured, tertiary, yet still plenty of freshness. Bone-dry, very homogeneous on the palate, the base wine was partly matured in fresh wood as there are gentle herbal notes present. A very complex, long-lasting, excellent sparkling wine.
