The Winery Zeljko Pecotic Baran is located in Smokvica homeland of Posip, where Zeljko Pecotic and his wife Slavica, continue the multi-generational history of winemaking. In addition to making wines from their estate vineyards in Smokvica, The Winery Zeljko Pecotic Baran also makes wines from place named Pod Korita, one of the best place for Posip grape. Specific climatic conditions of the vineyards where the Mediterranean climate provides very different temperatures day and night, favors the quality ripening of grapes and enriches the wine with very intense aromas. Sustainability of the land and respect for tradition are guiding principles for Pecotić Baran wines.
