Equally famous and infamous for its female-only flowering, Blatina was thus known as “emptybarrel” but also as high yield variety. As a result, it’s traditionally grown with other varieties customary represented in Blatina wine. Blatina “Mata” barrique is a dark ruby colored wine with softened tannin structure and fruit&earth aromatic, harmoniuos and balanced.
