Sontacchi winemaking family history dates back to the year 1900 with Tomaso Sontacchi, a vineyard estate manager at legendary Zdenko Turković Estate in City of Kutjevo. As a registered integrated producer in viticulture, Sontacchi promote viticulture that respects the environment. They maintain a high biological diversity in the ecosystem of the vineyard and in surrounding areas.

From estate grown grapes, Sontacchi wines are fermented with the wild yeasts native to its terroir.
