Štampar Winery is in St. Urban in Međimurje. It’s a family winery, run by the father-son team, Bojan and David. The two of them have improved the quality of the wines significantly in the past 20 years. Most of their wines are white, as it is a tradition in Međimurje. Local indigenous variety pušipel is a favorite but they also bottle graševina, zeleni silvanac, rhein riesling, chardonnay, pinot grigio, sauvignon and yellow muscat.

A fragrant, fresh and slightly sweet wine. The colour is light greenish. The smell is very intense and attractive. The wine has a typical muscat aroma with a pronounced sweet (and thus heavier) character. The sweet and abundant flowery notes are mixed with an intense smell of muscat grapes. The taste is very pleasant. It is sweet, but thanks to excellently preserved acidity, the balance is perfect and not at all boring; in fact, rather exciting.
