The Batistic-Zure family lives in the exotic village of Lumbarda, situated at the eastern edge of Korčula island. Lumbarda has been known from ancient times (the continuity of the village goes back to the Hellenic times, between 4th to 5th century B.C.) for its production of high quality white grapes, especially the autochthonous variety Grk, which survived in the loose Lumbarda sand, absorbing the primeval strength of the sun shining in this unique ambience.

In Lumbarda, on the south side of the island of Korčula, macaque and karst are transformed into a vineyard in which five varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Plavac mali, Alicante Bouchet) have been combined to provide resistance to stone, karst and weather.

As a result, this is a powerful top-quality wine, rich in color, scent and flavor, to which each variety gives its share by ageing in barrique barrels.
