Kujundžuša is an indigenous variety grown only in Imotski area. Name probably originates from turkish kuyumcu meaning “golden craftsman” as golden are the berries of Kujundžuša at perfect ripeness. Grabovac Kujundžuša is lightbodied, refreshing and easy drinking wine. One the nose it’s green apple, citrus and peach followed by lemongrass. On the palate a pronounced briny salinity leads into flavors of grapefruit, lemon, kumquat and a touch of bitter almond. The palate showcases nice mouthwatering tonic-like presence and gentle and light body. Ideal summer wine.
